Private Placements are restricted to a qualified group of individuals, which typically means individuals with a net worth of at least € 1 Mio. or alternatively institutional investors.

As a private placement is offered to a selected and limited group of individual or institutional investors, the placement does not have to be registered with BaFin or other similar authorities. In many cases detailed financial information is not disclosed and a the need for a public prospectus is waived.
